Our services include the following:
|
[Design Consultation]
We consult with you in order to take your idea, product, or sample and turn it into a reality. Let's dissect your needs and construct a plan. Discussion may include design input, line development and editing, fabric and trim sourcing, production timelines, logo/branding, fabric and trim selection, packaging, and marketing/promotion.
[Technical Sketches]
A technical sketch defines the details of the design such as seams, topstitching, and style lines. We will provide you with accurate sketches to carry you through the development process. Detailed sketches will contribute to accurate samples.
[Pattern Design and Development]
A pattern is the blueprint for your design. Think of it as a stencil that is used to cut out the fabric that is used to make your garment. Creating a pattern is a necessary step to creating a sample. Patterns will be prepared for pattern grading.
[Sample / Prototype Development]
The pattern development process will include multiple rounds of samples and fittings. We will work with the design until it is production-ready making all necessary fit and construction tweaks necessary.
[Technical Spec Packages]
Whether you are manufacturing locally or overseas, a packet of your product's details is needed. The techpack will include detailed product sketches, fabric and trim information, specs, graded measurements, and any label or packaging info that applies. A properly designed and updated techpack will ensure consistency and quality throughout the development process.
[Fit / Size Standard Consultation]
The current apparel market covers a range of specific fit and product sizing. If you are just starting a collection, we will determine the appropriate sizing standard to apply. If you have an existing line, we will analyze your fit standards to other brands and make any necessary adjustments to better suit your customer.
[Domestic Sourcing]
Developing a brand with local resources has many benefits, including low minimums, quicker turnaround, and a more convenient control over quality assurance. The resources for fabric /trim sourcing and manufacturing within the US are plentiful. Based on your product requirements and development process, we will connect you with the appropriate local resource.
[International Sourcing]
To develop your collection overseas opens up an expansive network of fabric, trim, and manufacturing resources. Many vendors will require large quantity orders, but in turn the garment costs will be low. Single Needle has established relationships with teams overseas and will pair your product with a specialized design or production package.
[Logo/Branding]
Each line needs an identity to attract the right customers. Work with our graphic designer to create your brand with an original logo, website design, and marketing materials.
